Curcuma longa , el oro sólido indio en el Perú

En el Perú se cultiva en los departamentos de: Huánuco, San

Martin, Amazonas, Junín, Ayacucho y Cusco. Debido a su olor
aromático semejante al del jengibre y su y su sabor ardiente
ligeramente amargo se utiliza como condimento de alimentos.

componentes bioactivos curcuminoides son atractivos en el
uso preventivo frente al cáncer y utilidad nutracéutica frente a
