Hablamos en futuro

Docente: Isaura M. Chura Chana

Materia: Inglés técnico II
Introducción:
En inglés, cuando queremos hablar en
futuro, tenemos la posibilidad de usar
cinco tiempos verbales distintos.
Cada uno de ellos tiene sus usos concretos,
y nos van a servir para situaciones
diferentes.
Estos tiempos son:
4 tiempos verbales futuros:

 Futuro simple
 Futuro con “be going to”
 Futuro continuo
 Futuro perfecto
 Presente continuo
¿ cómo podemos
diferenciarlos?
FUTURO SIMPLE
Forma:
Afirmativa: sujeto + will+ verbo en la forma
base you will eat
Negativa: sujeto + won´t + verbo en la
forma base you won´t eat
Interrogativa: will/ won´t + sujeto + verbo
en la forma base + ? Will you eat?
Futuro simple
Usos:
- Predicciones sin evidencia
- Acciones espontáneas
- Horarios
- Cosas que claramente van a ocurrir
Futuro “be going to”
FORMA:
Afirmativa: sujeto + am/ is/ are going to +
verbo base
Negativa: sujeto+ am/is/are not going to +
verbo base
Interrogativa: am/is/are + sujeto + going to
+ verbo base + ?
Futuro ´be going to´
USES:
- Planes de futuro
- Predicciones de las cuales tenemos una
evidencia
Ejemplos
 Afirmativa:
I am going to visit Paris next summer.
 Negativa:
You are not going to go to the party
tomorrow
 interrogativa:
Is he going to buy some clothes this
evening?
Futuro perfecto
El futuro perfecto es un tiempo que tiene
un solo uso: sirve para hablar de acciones
que en un momento muy concreto del
futuro ya habrán ocurrido o terminado.

Suele aparecer con expresiones de tiempo

como: by this time, by this time tomorrow,
tomorrow
Futuro perfecto
FORMA:
Afirmativa will have + verbo en participio
(-ed/ 3ª columna)

Negativa: won´t have + verbo en participio

Afirmativa: will + sujeto + have + verbo en

participio + ?
Ejemplos
1- By this time next week, we will have
finished our work of maths.

2- By this time tomorrow, my mother will

have arrived from New York.

3- Monday, At seven o´clock I won´t have

gone to Julie´s house.
Futuro continuo
El futuro continuo, al igual que el futuro
perfecto, solo tiene un uso particular.

Este sirve para hablar de acciones que

estarán ocurriendo o en proceso en un
momento determinado o específico del
futuro.
Futuro continuo
FORMA:
Afirmativa: will be + verbo (–ing)

Negativa: won´t be + verbo (-ing)

Interrogativa: will + sujeto + be + verbo (-

ing)
Ejemplos
1- At this time tomorrow, I will be working
in the project.

2- Tomorrow morning, I won´t be studying

at school, because it´s Saturday

3- At six o´clock next Friday, will you be

doing something interesting?
Presente continuo
Aunque pueda resultar confuso pensar que
un tiempo en presente sirva para el
futuro, el presente continuo puede ser
utilizado. Sus usos son:
- Hablar de planes futuros a corto plazo
- Hablar de una acción que esta ya fijada.
Por ejemplo casarse o un contrato.
Ejemplos

 I am going out with Peter tonight.

 Sue is getting married next August.

 Tomorrow, my brother is playing football

in Málaga.
