 2004 earthquake and tsunami
An earthquake was occurred in December 2006,
2004, resulting a huge tsunami..Its estimated that
167.736 people in Indonesia died because of the
catastrophe.
 Reconstruction progress All building expected to be
completed in 2012.

History of Acehnese Wikipedia
Acehnese Wikipedia was created in incubator at xxx under the effort of
Muhammad Nabil Berri.

With help from Andri Humardhani, a sysop in Indonesian Wikipedia, and

a linguist xxxx, Acehnese Wikipedia was born in xxxx.
The community
The community in Acehnese Wikipedia is still very small. The most active
contributor is Si Gam Aceh and Jiyuukaminari, while 2 other, Fadli Idris, Abi Azkia,
are only sometimes active. The rest is just bypasser or tester, or only writing
once/twice/etc.

In the future, the community might grow again because Acehnese Wikipedia has just
launched a campaign to promote the wiki.

said that they want to save their language from extinction.
