The gastronomy of the department of Huila is
considered a natural and traditional heritage of the

TYPICAL FOOD The community of the department of Huila unites

ASADO HUILENSE:
RECIPE FROM Ingredients:
HUILA 8 pounds of pork.
SUBTOPIC: 2 beers.
½ cup vinegar.
2 tablespoons of orange juice.
4 long stems of chopped onion.
8 garlic cloves.
1 teaspoon of basil.
1 teaspoon of coriander.
1 teaspoon of mint.

PREPARATION: The meat is pierced and marinated in


brine of the preferred ingredients (minimum 24 hours),
soaking it every 6 hours and making sure that it also

oven preheated to 250 ° for 4 hours; it is served with
arepa and yuca.
