A computer is a machine or device that performs processes, calculations and operations based
on instructions provided by a software or hardware program. It is designed to execute
applications and provides a variety of solutions by combining integrated hardware and
software components.

CENTRAL PROCESSING UNIT
also called a central processor or main processor, is the electronic circuitry within
a computer that carries out the instructions of a computer program by
performing the basic arithmetic, logic, controlling, and input/output (I/O)
operations specified by the instructions.
RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY

RAM (Random Access Memory) is the hardware in a computing device where the
operating system (OS), application programs and data in current use are kept
so they can be quickly reached by the device's processor.
HARD DISK DRIVE

is an electro-mechanical data storage device that uses magnetic storage to

store and retrieve digital information using one or more rigid rapidly rotating
disks (platters) coated with magnetic material.
VIDEO GRAPHIC CARD

is an expansion card which generates a feed of output images to a display

device (such as a computer monitor).
MOTHERBOARD

is the main printed circuit board (PCB) found in general purpose computers and
other expandable systems. It holds, and allows, communication between many of
the crucial electronic components of a system, such as the central processing unit
(CPU) and memory, and provides connectors for other peripherals.
SOFTWARES
commonly known as programs or apps, consists of all the instructions that tell the
hardware how to perform a task.

System software: Helps run the computer hardware and computer system itself.
Application software: Allows users to accomplish one or more tasks. It includes
word processing, web browsing and almost any other task for which you might
install software.
