HILLS
– We decided to choose the Highway Hills
Barangay as our subject for the
performance task because It is aligned
with our mission. There is a huge public
school in the area that we believe can be
an area for us to conduct our program
effectively.
DESCRIPTION OF THE
PROGRAM
– We are an organization that aims to provide education to
those who can’t afford it.

– To improve the functional literacy of children, we partner

with the Department of Education and local government
units.

– We collaborate with parents, volunteers, the school and with

the barangay to improve learning in school, after school, and
at home.
OBJECTIVES OF THE
PROGRAM

–To break the cycle of

poverty by keeping
children educated
EXPECTED OUTCOME

– Make our students learn and be able

to be qualified in getting jobs
someday, so that they can receive
money.
– To help as much children possible

ACTIVITIES
– Our program will start by our Barangay Chairman Rolando A.
Rugay giving a speech on why education is important and
relevant.
– Next the teachers will teach them the basic subjects like
Math, Science, Filipino, and English. An example can be the
teachers teaching them how to count, the planets, how to
read time, and etc. the teachers will prepare games for them
so they can be doing something active. This can them enjoy
learning.

– The person responsible for our program will be

Barangay Chairman Rolando A. Rugay of Barangay
Highway Hills and his Barangay Kagawad.
– Since we make use of a school, we are also
planning to have a partnership with the school’s
board of trustees.
– Since this is our program we are also people held
responsible for this.
SCHEDULE/
VENUES
– Our program will be at Highway Hills Integrated
School. We chose this school because it is a huge
school and, expenses for the program are cheaper. -
Our program will also be held Monday, Wednesday,
and every Friday of the week of every summer, so
that the children will be prepared for the school
season again.
SOURCE OF FUNDING

– Our program is a volunteer based one, which means

our teachers would be volunteers.
– In terms of the materials for the program itself, we
will be using the facilities in the school, so that we
can reduce expenses.
– Other miscellaneous problems will be then on our
part.
