Space for the user With –48 V 24 Ah built-in The depth refers to the
device batteries: 482.6 mm x space between the column
(W×H×D) 222.25 mm x 310 mm and the back of the cabinet.
(19 in. in width, 5 U in
height, 310 mm in depth)

PDU can be classified into four types according to the different AC input voltages and DC loads of the PDU
Statu
LED Color Meaning

Power Green On Normal
running
LED Off There are faults (such as no AC input, or overvoltage and
undervoltage of AC input) on the mains, or the PSU has no
output.
Protection Yellow Off Normal
LED
On Temperature pre-alarm or fan pre-alarm
Fault LED Red Off Normal, or the PSU has no output because of faults (such
as no AC input, or overvoltage and undervoltage of AC
input) on the mains.
On There is no output because of output overvoltage shutdown,
fan fault, overtemperature shutdown, remote shutdown, or
internal problems of the PSU.
The power and environment monitoring unit (PMU) is the unit for monitoring the
power and the environment. The PMU provides perfect power system management,
power distribution detection, and alarm report functions.
On for 0.125 second The module runs normally but the communication with the main
and off for 0.125 control unit fails.
second If the PMU does not communicate with the main control unit for
one minute, the communication fails. In this situation, the RUN
LED blinks four times every second.
Battery control The battery control switch has two control ports ON and OFF, which are used for
switch powering on and off the battery.
Press and hold the port ON for 5s to 10s until the battery is powered on.
Press and hold the port OFF for 5s to 10s until the battery is powered off.
CAUTION:
You need to insert a small round bar into the hole when you operate the battery
control switch. When you hear a crack, the battery is powered on or off.
To operate the battery control switch on the front panel of the PMU, insert a
small round pole into the hole.
Power supply test Two power supply test holes -48 V and 0 V are available for measuring power
port voltages through an ordinary multimeter.
Transmission Cabinet
The transmission cabinet provides a space
of 11 U for the user devices.
The transmission cabinet reports the alarms
of temperature sensor, door status sensor,
and fan.
The transmission cabinet is configured with
the DCDU-03A, which can provide nine DC
outputs and report the surge protection
alarms
DCDU-03A
Function
Supports one DC power input with the
maximum current of 32 A
Supports nine outputs
LOAD0: output ≦12 A supports power to
the fan unit
LOAD1 to LOAD8: output ≦4 A supports
power to the transmission equipment
Provides the surge protection alarm
reporting function through the built-in surge
protection board

SN Description
2 When the APM30 is mounted on a wall, the holes of the mounting ears are aligned with the bolt
holes. The mounting ears are placed against the wall securely.
3 When the APM30 is mounted on a metal pole, the pole fixtures are secure and reliable.
4 When the APM30 is installed on the floor, the base is securely installed.
5 The horizontal error of the cabinet is less than 3 mm and the vertical error is not greater than 3 mm.
6 All the bolts are tightened, especially for electrical connections. The flat washers and spring
washers are completely and properly installed.
9 The space reserved for the user devices is covered by a filler panel.
10 The cabinet door and the lock are functional. The gag lever post is tightened.
