My visit to Frankfurt for the 2014 Auto

Show was great. This was the 65th edition
of the fair. It took place from September
25th to October 2nd in Hanover, Germany.

I arrived in Germany on Tuesday, 23rd of

September, two days before the start of the
event. I flew from New York to Frankurt. I
enjoyed the flight a lot.

I arrived at the exhibition center on

Wednesday, which was the first day of the
show. There were outdoor and indoor
exhibitions and lot of visitors.

I first visited the electric cars pavilion.

There were several exhibitions by different
car makers. I enjoyed them all.
The place was full of people because the
cars were really amazing.

A few days later, I attended a presentation

about the cars of the future. The exhibitors
showed a 3D clip about new technologies in
car manufacturing. These exhibition was
very interesting too. They even had a see-
through model car made in glass.

Before the end of the show, I had the

opportunity to do a drive test of a very
modern vehicle.

I traveled with a group of visitors to a nearby

circuit. We chose our favorite car and drove
along the circuit for several minutes. I felt
like a real race pilot!

Before leaving Germany, I had to try the

local food: sausages, of course! During the
last day of the show, I visited one of the local
restaurants. I ordered the Frankfurter
Würstchen which means “The little
Frankfurt saugage” It was absolutely
delicious! I also had a sauerkraut (cabbage
in vinegar) and a beer with it. These are the
usual sides that German people eat with
sausage.

My visit to Medellin for the flower fair

2017 was great. It took place from July 28
to August 7 in Medellin-Colombia. I arrived
in Medellin on Thursday, July 27, one day
before the start of the event. I flew from
Bogota to Medellin. It was a very fast
flight.

I arrived at the defile of silleteros on

Friday, which was the first day of the show.
It had a distance of two kilometers and
counted with the participation of 16
pioneer silleteros, and approximately 480
people, including adults, youth and
children. On Friday night I was at the
concert of Kevin Florez, Wilfrido Vargas,
Peter Manjarrés, The Combo of the Stars,
Jowell & Randy, it was great.

On Friday, July 28, on Saturday, July 29 and

Friday, August 4, the XIII National Trova
Festival was held with 220 troubadours
from more than 50 municipalities in the
country. The grand final was held at Plaza
Gardel on Friday August 4 and was as a
guest artist Pipe Pelaez, The festival was
won by Leonardo Arboleda "Cuervo"

On July 30 and until August 3, the

Nocturnal Cultural Park was held, with the
participation of several artists such as
Bazurto and Rancho Apart. On July 31, the
60th anniversary was celebrated, they
congratulated and thanked the silleteros
for being part of our culture and
recognizing everything they have done for
this region.

In the Plaza de las Flores (north and south)

you could see silleteros, handicrafts,
gastronomy, trovas, antique cars, flowers,
music and dance, it was an unforgettable
show of colors.

On Sunday, August 6, the classic and

antique cars parade took place, which is
the event where most people go, because
they go out to the street to enjoy an

While in Medellin, visit many places, enjoy

its gastronomy and its people, which is
very cordial. On August 7 return to my city
very satisfied for my trip
