hundred four
Use your place value mat and your dry erase marker.
Draw a line across your mat in the blank under the place
name where you put the numbers.
Write number on the left on top of your line and the number
on the right on the bottom.
ACTIVITY!
Write a different number on each of the two index cards on your
desk.
When the teacher tells you to, get up and give your cards to
other people. Whoever you give your card to, you need to take
one of theirs. You should end up with two cards that are not
yours.
Return to your desk and place one card on the left of your dry
erase board and one on the right. Write the proper symbol (>, <,
=).
Then, write how they are similar, how they are different, and what
the difference between the two numbers is.
Then, walk down 2 desks to your right. Check that person’s work
and give them a small check if they’re right and a small x if
they’re wrong.
