Naturalist intelligence

What is it and what is it for?

Naturalist
intelligence was
the eighth type of
intelligence
proposed by
Howard Gardner.
The naturalistic intelligence is what allows to detect,
differentiate and categorize the different aspects
related to nature. Those who develop it at its
maximum potential can understand the phenomena
related to animal and plant species, climate or
geography like no other.

Gardner added this category years later, in 1995,

since he considered it necessary to add it when
noting its importance for the survival of the human
being on Earth, and understand that it has been an
indispensable factor in evolution.
