What cause Global Warming

Global Warming occurs from carbon dioxide and other air pollution

Climate patterns are changing, in California and across the planet.

Since the mid 20th century, climate scientists have tracked these
global warming trends and attributed them largely to human activity
on the planet. That activity (our use of fossil fuels) has resulted in
dramatically increased levels of carbon dioxide and other
greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
Global warming - Factories
● The air pollution made from the factories release harmful
gases resulting in global warming.
● The harmful gases include carbon dioxide and sulfur
dioxide that increase the amount of greenhouse gasses in
the air.
● The air pollution is worse around populated cities were the
factories emit pollution near people.
● Global warming is mostly the factor of the pollution the
factories are releasing from their products
Global Warming - Climate Change
Global Warming which is also referred to as Climate Change. In 2013 the IPCC
concluded that “It is extremely likely that human influence has been the dominant
cause of the observed warming since the mid 20th century.” The biggest change has
been from greenhouse gases such carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide. The
future of climate change varies from region to region so depending on where you
live the climate will always be different. Warming is said to be greater over land than
it is the oceans or water. Global Warming differs on where it is on the planet so if in
the Arctic the climate is greater.
Global warming-How To Stop It
● The goal is simple. Carbon dioxide is the climate’s worst enemy. It’s released when oil, coal, and
other fossil fuels are burned for energy—the energy we use to power our homes, cars, and
smartphones. By using less of it, we can curb our own contribution to climate change
● What’s the single biggest way you can make an impact on global climate change? “Talk to your
friends and family, and make sure your representatives are making good decisions,” By voicing your
concerns—via social media or, better yet, directly to your elected officials—you send a message that
you care about the warming world.
● Saving water reduces carbon pollution, too. That's because it takes a lot of energy to pump, heat,
and treat your water. So take shorter showers, turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, and switch
to WaterSense-labeled fixtures and appliances.
● If all Americans kept their tires properly inflated, we could save 1.2 billion gallons of gas each year.
A simple tune-up can boost miles per gallon anywhere from 4 percent to 40 percent, and a new air
filter can get you a 10 percent boost.
