( Doing this project was a very good learning experience for me and I am sure that it
will help me a lot in my carrier. I learned lots of things about the working of Online
Travel Agencies .

( It was not easy for me to apply my class room knowledge in practical initially it
was a bit difficult for me but after some time I enjoyed this and learn a lot.

( This project helps me to understand the working of online travel agencies.

( How to approach costumers.

( To understand costumers mindsets.

( How to work as a sales person.

( Challenges From Competitors- This was the biggest
challenges I face in the market because there are many
agencies in the business and they have their own costumers so
initially I fell it difficult to make convince them to try
yatra.com once.

( People are very busy these days and they have no time to listen
sales people specially when the image of salesmen is not very
good so most of the time people avoid to talk salesmen.

( Time limit- This is very broad subject to study I got only two
months for this project but I have done my best to complete
this project and get some appropriate results.

( Online travel industry is the fastest evolving service sector
industry in India

40% by the end of 2011 fiscal year

( Yatra Online Private Limited is presently enjoying 30% market

share in the Indian Online Travel Industry

( Makemytrip is the market leader in the sector and enjoying

almost 50% market share.
°

( Yatra.com should be more flexible in their policies if they
want to capture the major chunk of corporate sector, they
should come up with credit facility

( Yatra.com should focus more on their promotional activities

so as to create awareness about the company among the
masses

( As its an online travel portal so it should have more such tie-

ups as they already have with Yahoo! And eBay. In
