INTRODUCTION
A digital clock is a type of clock that displays the
time digitally (i.e. in numerals or other symbols),
as opposed to an analog clock, where the time is
indicated by the positions of rotating hands.
Digital clocks are often associated with electronic
drives, but the "digital" description refers only to
the display, not to the drive mechanism.
The purpose of the project are to learn on how to
construct a digital clock with digital components
and as the world stands to be digitalised in every
ramification with such this project is aimed at
looking for the way for students to expose
themselves with digital construction. In this
method, integrated circuit is being used and this
will calculate the time based on the number of
internal construction it has executed and reflect
the result in digitalized form on a digital tube
display.

INTEGRATED CIRCUIT
Integrated circuit (IC) sometimes called as a chip
or microchip, is a semiconductor wafer on which a
thousand or millions of tiny resistors, capacitors,
and transistors are fabricated. An IC can be a
function as an amplifier, oscillator, timer,
counter, computer memory, or microprocessor.
An exact IC is categorized as either linear (analog)
or digital depending on its future application.
LOGIC GATES
A logic gate is an elementary building block of a
digital circuit. A logic gate is a small transistor
circuit, basically a type of amplifier, which is
implemented in different forms within an
integrated circuit. Each type of gate has one or
more (most often two) inputs and one output.
At any given moment, every terminal is in one of
the two binary conditions low (0)or high (1),
represented by different voltage levels. The logic
state of a terminal can, and generally does, change
often, as the circuit processes data. In most logic
gates, the low state is approximately zero volts (0
V), while the high state is approximately five volts
positive (+5 V).
DIGITAL TUBE
LED digital tube as shown in is a semiconductor
light-emitting device, the basic unit is the light-
emitting diode. Digital tube according to the
number of segments is divided into seven sections

a lot of benefits towards future students as this
project can be used for their reference towards the
