Required Academics

Emerson has different levels of employment, the two primary being corporate and
factory.
At the factory level workers are stationed at Emerson plants.
Educational level required: at least a high school degree.

At the Corporate level employees take on various different fields of business


depending on their skills and education.
Educational level required: at least an associate degree; however, it is most common for
employees at the corporate level of Emerson to have a Bachelor Degree.
As with most fortune, 500 companies there are also individuals in the corporate level with
their masters or doctorate.
Academic Encouragement

Tuition Reimbursement
Emerson offers this to all full-time, non-union, salary employees that have
worked for the company for more than 90 days.
The program must be Emerson approved and offer growth in areas related to
current employment or possible promotional positions
Undergraduate: Up to $45,000 reimbursement with a grade C and up.
Graduate: Up to $30,000 reimbursement with a grade B and up.
They also offer four types of training workshops to further employee education:
