Committee has been the home of the
Democratic Party, the oldest continuing party
in the United States.

Democrats believe that we're greater

together than we are on our ownthat this
country succeeds when everyone gets a fair
shot, everyone does their fair share, and
everyone plays by the same rules.

President Obama, is focused on building an

economy that lifts up all Americans, not just
those at the top.

So, United States as a Democratic
State, their politic party system is.
Two-Party System.
Means that there are two major politic party
who dominate U.S. politics within the
government.
The third party or minority parties runs had
little meaningful success.
Different from UKs Two-Party.
Hung parliament?
Why Two-Party System? (1)
As a result of the winner-takes-all apportionment
of seats and the-first-past-the-post voting system.
All that is needed is to win plurality.
This fact makes the minority candidates receive
nothing, and so makes independent candidates
or small parties hard to win without the backing
of the large organization, which means a large,
national party with name recognition and a
distinct platfrom.
Why Two-Party System? (2)
Historical Factors
Two-party system arose in the United
States from early political battling between
the federalists and anti-federalists in the first
few decades after the ratification of
the Constitution.
