Algebra Problems

A village consisting of x+5 residenthood. Each

residenthood consists of yx4 neighborhood. In
every neighborhood there are z+3 houses. in the
village there are 256.000.000 people, and the
village is divided into 2 parts, the East and West.
If there is y people in each house to the west and
three times as much in the east. Then determine
the number of people per house the east and west?
If value of x=15,y=5,and z=197
Suppose
The number of house= a
The number of residenthood= x
The number of neighborhood per
redsidenthood= y
The number of house per neighborhood= z
The number of people= p
The number of people per house= b
How to solve it?
a=(x+5) X (yX4) X (z+3) The number of house
is 160.000
=20 X 40 X 200=160.000
b=p:a
=2.560.000:160.000=16 The number of people
16:4=4 3 per house is 16
1
So, the number of people per house in east are 3
the number of people per house in west is 1
and the number of house are 160.000
