Pitahaya is known as dragon fruit. The dragon fruit is red and
yellow

Botanical description
The plant has two kinds of roots that are in the soil and air
basal adventitious roots.
They will grow along the stems on the flat face and serve to
fix the plant support.
The stems are fleshy with three edges and in the center is the
vascular package.
These are some rounded buds called areolas, which are
important because they give rise to the branches and
flowers.
The flowers are hermaphrodite and open only at night and
close in the morning.
Pollination will be carried out with pollen from the same
flower.
The fruit is a large oval or globular berry, the pulp is whitish,
pink or purple. The cover can be red, purple or yellow.
The fruit is 70% pulp and 30% peel.
