Tips for Encouraging Kids to Read

4) Encourage a wide variety of reading
activities.

1) Display board for the reader of the week.


2) Treasure Hunt for Grade 2 and 3.
3) Theme based ceremonies.
4) AR Term Reports will be included with the Term Final
Reports. (see sample on the next slide)
5) Small, encouraging, in-class activities will be given to
class teachers (character web, coloring sheets, write ups,
etc.).
6) Students of Grade 4, 5, and 6 will be encouraged to take
the AR Quiz on their Supplementary Reader before their
Supplementary Periodic.
