CA CONTROL CARD
ALARM LED (RED)
The Alarm LED describes that one of the device is in
Alarm condition, the address of that concerning device
May be confirm by the LJ Display Card.
TROUBLE LED (YELLOW)
The Trouble LED describes that one of the device is in
Trouble condition. For example type mismatch, device
Malfunction, Sensor Electronics fault and no output.
SILENCE LED (YELLOW)
The Silence LED describes that the selected device has
Been Acknowledged and Silenced if hooter is activated,
At alarm condition Alarm LED at CA, LJ and
Concerning AE Card will be Set ON and EBI graphics
Will also indicate the current status of device as per
E&I SECTION 7
legend.
CA CONTROL CARD
ACK/SILENCE SWITCH
(At EBI, FS90, C.C & Desk Push Buttons)
The Ack/Silence Switch is used to Acknowledge and
Silence the Alarms. By moving Upwards, the Alarm
Will Be Acknowledged and by moving Downwards,
The Device will be Silenced.
RESET SWITCH
(At EBI, FS90, C.C & Desk Push Buttons)
The Reset switch is used to Reset the devices in Alarm
Conditions. By moving this switch upwards the device
Will be Reset.
PANEL TEST SWITCH
(At FS90 & C.C)
The Panel Test Switch is used to test all LEDs ON of
the FS90 for their proper operation. By moving this
Switch Upwards all LEDs will be turned on for five
seconds.

CA CONTROL CARD
MANUAL EVACUATION SWITCH
(At EBI, FS90, C.C)

The Manual Evacuation Switch is used to manually


Evacuate all people. The Manual Evacuate Switch
Has the functionality to activate All the output
devices (Hooters) of the corresponding FS90.
In emergency case this is required to gather all people
at Muster Stations, this can be done by the Evacuate
button, which Activates all hooters in corresponding
areas.

MANUAL EVACUATION PROCEDURE
You Can perform Manual Evacuation via C.C, FS90 and EBI.
MANUAL EVACUATION VIA COMMAND CENTER

Press Evacuate button on the keypad of command center, this


Will activate all the output devices of the FS90. After all the
Devices are activated (this can be confirmed via Mimic Panel)
Press the Silence button, this will de-activates all the output
Devices. After the panel is silenced press the Reset button, this
Will resets the FS90.
After Performing all these steps, Reset the mimic panel by the
Reset Push Button located at the Right most corner of the Mimic
Panel.

MANUAL EVACUATION PROCEDURE
VIA
FS90 CONTROLLER

Move the Manual Evacuation switch upwards from the CA


Card of the FS90, this will activate all the output devices. After
this move Ack/Silence switch Downwards for silencing the FS90,
this will set the silence LED to ON at the CA card and de-
Activates all the output devices. After this Reset the FS90 via
Reset switch upwards. This will Resets the FS90.
After Performing all these steps, Reset the mimic panel by the
Reset Push Button located at the Right most corner of the Mimic
Panel.

LJ DISPLAY CARD
ADDRESSING SCHEME
All four Zones are divided into four loops as per Zone
Numbering, i.e. for Zone-1 is Loop-1 and vice versa.
The addresses from 001 to 099 are reserved for Smoke
Sensors. The addresses from 101 to 149 are reserved for
Break Glasses. The addresses from 150 to 199 are
reserved for Control Modules. All these addresses are
For loops and are uniquely identified by the loop No.
DISPLAY SCHEME (LJ CARD)

When an Alarm Occurs, the display will show the active


Devices address in this pattern i.e 1-001 or 3-101 or
4-151. In this pattern the first digit describes the zone or
loop No and next three digits describes the address as
Per the addressing scheme.

This shows the device of whichs address is being

PRE-ALARM (YELLOW)
This shows the device of whichs address is being
Displayed is in Pre-alarm condition (80 PPM).
TROUBLE (YELLOW)
This shows the device of whichs address is being
Displayed is in trouble condition.
MULTIPLE ALARMS (YELLOW)
This shows that there are more than one alarms from
One or more loops.

PREVIOUS/NEXT SWITCH

When there are multiple devices in alarm condition


then the multiple Alarms LED will be on. And to see
The Addresses of those devices you can use
Previous/Next Switch. By Moving the switch Upwards
the scrolling is Backwards (Previous address) and the
LEDs will also Shuffle as per the device status i.e in
Alarm, Pre-alarm Or Trouble. By moving the switch
Downwards the Scrolling is Forward (Next Address)
and the LEDs will Shuffle as per the device status.

ALARM1 LED (RED)

This shows that there is at least one device is in alarm


Condition. The address can be verified by the Display.
PRE-ALARM (YELLOW)

ACKNOWLEDGE
The Acknowledge button has the same functionality as FS90, by
pressing this button the selected address of the Device in any
condition (Alarm, Pre-Alarm, Trouble or No response) on the
Display of the Command center will be acknowledged.
SILENCE
By pressing the silence button, the selected address of
The device in alarm condition on the Display of the
command center will not only acknowledged But if the
hooters are activated, they are also silenced.
RESET
By pressing the Reset button, the selected address of the
device on the Display of the command center, if it is in
Alarm condition will be set to Reset. The device will only
Be return to normal after the condition has been

EVACUATE
The Evacuate button has the functionality to activate All the
output devices of the corresponding FS90. In Normal Practice
only the corresponding areas Hooter Will Sound in case of
alarm condition. In emergency cases, The requirement is to
gather all people at Muster Stations, this can be done by the
Evacuate button, which Activates all hooters in corresponding
areas.
STATUS
By pressing the Status button, the display will prompt to Enter
the loop No. and address, this will give you the Status of that
address. Moreover you can find Point Log , Refresh the device
Execute commands to the device.

PANEL TEST

The Panel Test button actuates all the LEDs of the FS90 to ON
Position to test the LEDs working.

REPORTS
By Reports button, you can print different kind of Reports
On thermal printer attached with the C.C, Which are;
All-Points, Alarms, Status, Trouble, Disable
History, Isolate, Disconn
Lockout, Trend, Log. Pt. Group

MANUAL EVACUATION PROCEDURE

EBI
Double Click on the Manual Evacuation Push button from the
Graphic. This will open the Manual Evacuation configuration
Page. At this page, drop down the OP combo box and click Evac.
This will executes the control for Evacuation. Wait for the
Control to be executed successfully.

After successful execution all hooters will be switched on.

RESETTING OF
MANUAL EVACUATION
EBI
If the operator is at the evacuation page then
Return back to the previous Page by back button at tool bar
menu items or by pressing F8.
You can also find evacuation, silence and reset button on EBI
graphics and can proceed from there.
Now double click the Panel silence button and repeat the
Procedure as before.
After the execution of the Panel Silence, move back by pressing
F8 and double click on the Panel Reset button and proceed the
procedure as before.
After performing all these steps Reset the Mimic Panel also.

RESPONSE PROCEDURE AGAINST
ALARM
Upon Sounding of Hooter by viewing the EBI Graphics, it is
the Responsibility of the ERT Board Man to perform
following Actions;
Quickly View the Tag No. of the respective Alarm from
the taskbar.
Open the respective Graphics page, and view the detail of
the Alarm Occurred.
In Case of Smoke Sensor, Click the respective Group
indication, this will lead you to the detail of that group.
Note the respective devices location and inform Fire
Master who will then send Fire Party to that location.
E&I SECTION 45
Silence the Controller via Panel Silence Status
Buttons on Respective Graphic.
After Control executed Successfully, Reset the
Controller via Panel Reset Status Button on respective
Graphic and wait for control execution as before.
In Case the control is not executed successfully,
(due to device timeout or Scan daemon failure)
quickly press the Silence & Reset Push Buttons
provided at the Desk near Mimic Panel respectively.
After Silence/Reset the respective device, Reset it from
Mimic Panel also, via Reset Push Button provided at
Mimic Panel.

E&I SECTION 46
It is important to note that LED will return to its normal
position (Off) only after the Silence/Resetting
the FS90 controller.
Having difficulty during this procedure, Consult E&I
section immediately.
In Case of Fire, follow the procedure as above.
The device will returns to normal position only after
replacement the glass, which is the responsibility of ERT
staff.

E&I SECTION 47
RESPONSE PROCEDURE IN EBI
COMMUNICATION FAILURE
In case of Communication Failure, it is the responsibility of
the ERT Board Man to perform following steps;
Immediately inform E&I Section to resolve the problem.
Meanwhile the Board Man should consult the Mimic
Panel for alarm identification as well as Zone
identification, Command Center for complete information
about device address/Location.
In Case of Smoke Sensor, Group indication on Mimic
Panel will glow, check the location of that device from
Command Center.
Note the respective devices location and inform Fire
Master who will then send Fire Party to that location.
E&I SECTION 48
Silence the Controller either through Command Center,
FS90 Controller or Silence & Reset Push Buttons
Provided at Desk Near Mimic Panel.
After Silence/Reset the respective device, Reset it from
Mimic Panel also, via Reset Push Button provided at
Mimic Panel.
It is important to note that LED will return to its normal
position (Off) only after the Silence/Resetting
the FS90 controller.
In Case of Fire, follow the procedure as above.
The device will returns to normal position only after
replacement the glass, which is the responsibility of
ERT staff.

RESPONSE PROCEDURE IN CASE
OF PRE-ALARM
In case of Pre-alarm of Smoke sensor at EBI Graphics, it is the
responsibility of the ERT Board Man to perform following
steps;
Board Man should consult EBI, FS90 Controller for alarm
verification as well as Zone identification, Command
Center for complete information about device
address/Location.
If it changes into alarm, then follow the procedure against
alarm.
If it is Pre-alarm, then immediately inform Fire Master
who will then send Fire Party to the Location to
investigate the Cause.

In case Pre-alarm condition verified, inform E&I
Section for preventive maintenance of that device
immediately.
