Researchers define stress as a physical,
mental, or emotional response to events
that causes bodily or mental tension.
Simply put, stress is any outside force
or event that has an effect on our body
or mind.

2.Social stress-financial problem, job
interviews, work load,dovorce,loss of a
loved one, disagreement etc.
3.Physiological-Illness , aging, giving
birth,accident,poor nutrition etc.
Organisational level stress
1.Organisational climate-a high pressure
environment that place chronic work demand
on employ cause the stress response.
2.Organisational leadership-represents
the managerial style of the organisations
senior executives.
3.organisational change-stress are higher
when having unusual transfer or adoption of
new technology.

4.Work overload-excessive workload


lead to stress. Qualitative work load like
exception of work beyond the employee
capacity. And quantitative like number of
different activity in org.
5.Working condition-employee may be
subjected to poor working condition.

alcohol & drug abuse, handling conflict at
the work place, deal0ing with mental &
other family problems.
3.Delegation-delegate some
responsibility to other.
4.More information & help-some new
employee have to spend more time in a
job than necessary because they are not
sure what they are doing. And that time
senior help, advice also help in reduce the
stress.
