miskitos, sumus and ramas, who keep their own
original languages.

It is amazing the highest younger population,

about 70% is under 30 years of age. It is because
the highest birth rate, in due to religious and
cultural reasons, they are reluctant to use birth
control methods.

First of all we did meetings with the parents,

teachers and foreman to organize works teams.

Delivery of the materials, with the correspondent

list for check and control.

Once all the materials were in optimal conditions,

they were warehoused and the community had to
take care of it.

The microprojects constructions started on June

5th and ended on July 2th.

10
Phase I Constructions
Primero de Mayo
Located in the town of Tuma La Dalia, situated 36 km from Magalpa.
131 children of multi grade at the school with 3 teachers.
The principal entry producing activity of the zone is: Coffe plantation.
The kindergarden doesnt have a stable place to funtion (classes are
given in a particular house).
It has basis energy service and current water, avaible only during some
hours a day.
To improve the conditions of hygiene in the preparation and consume of
the meals it was necesary a kitchen with ecofogon (ecological fire place)
and molendero (a wooden table used as a pantry). The school didnt
have this instalations. TNT contributed to relieve this urgent necesity BEFORE
and realized the donations for the construccions of the structure.
The limitation is that doesnt exist the disponibility of the water in the
school, necessary for the consume and preparations of the meals, team
13 of TNT-PMA has provided the school with water captors with their
filters.
Initiation from the community: they improve the drainage system of the
school.
