Using font and colour in the correct way can

change the way the audience perceive your
work. Using the appropriate font and colour
sends your intended message to the
spectator.

This font would not be appropriate used

on the front cover of a magazine that
wants to be seen. This font is hard to
read and it also doesnt take up a lot of
space on a page, therefore would not be
good for my magazine cover page.

Abode Gothic Std B

This font would be good for the Titles,

Mastheads and cover lines as it is easily
seen. This font is big enough to be seen,
also very clear and not hard to
understand at all. This font is
appropriate for my magazine cover page
as it is very bold and very commonly
used in magazine publishing companies.

The BIGGER writing, the

BETTER.

Writing that has been written from a speech, thats an exception. Editorial
writing has to look as if it has been written into the magazine. This is done as
it helps the audience to feel closer to the person that has said/ talked about
the anecdote, bringing it to more of a personal level. This allows the reader to
relate more with the publishing company. Although it has to look as if it is
actual handwriting.

and how they will attract the target
audience they have reached out to. This can
be shown as pinks and purples will attract
younger girls and reds and yellows will
attracts males for a rock magazine as they
connote warning and danger. Red is a
threatening colour therefore rock would be
the main genre that would be associated
with the colour.

Rock music is associated with bright colours but also only a few certain ones.
Also black and white connote a rock magazine.
Colours such as reds and yellows shoe dangers and warning. They are good
to use in a rock music magazine as they connote things that the magazines
would want to show. Colours that go together make all the difference.
