EMERGENCY MEDICAL AID USING ANDROID APPLICATION

Abstract
To create an application which
uses smart phones and utilize their
capacity to reach out in all corners
of the world.
To implement remote medicine in
android so as to make it available
to the masses.
Design hardware for ecg to take
ecg on the go and calculate ecg
over extended periods of time.

Introduction
We aim to extend the utility of smartphones to include the emerging field of Remote
Medicine.We wish to keep life saving information at one's fingertips.
Such data when by ones side can save a thousand lives by enabling the doctor to
treat a patient without absolute need of his medical files in a extreme case of
emergency.

Background And Motivation

We were approached by a Dr. Pratap
Bordawekar (dubai) who said that such
an application was in need.Simple data
such as the medicines being taken and
allergies are vital to save the patients
life.
If such data is provided then the patients
life can be saved.
Nearly 830 people die on the streets
every day in India, their lives can be
saved if they get proper medical
treatment in the 'golden hour' after the
accident.
