Describe the trend in the Demographic Transition
Model.
Explain the characteristics of each stage of the
model
Analyse the factors affecting the stages of the
model
Link to case study examples of countries at each
stages of the model

frame sheet.
5 sheets of imformation will be rotated around
each group. You must try to complete your table
as much as possible.

2 Early Expanding

Afghanistan. This is an extremely poor


country lead down by political instability .

3 Late Expanding

Brazil. A newly industrialising country

4 Low fluctuating

USA & UK Hugely developed countries,


massive strong economics

5 Natural decrease

Germany. Still a very well developed


country, population is declining due to the
increase in women in work etc.
