School Hours
The morning bell rings at 8:45.
The student is considered tardy at 8:50 if he or she is
not in the classroom. Repeated tardiness will result in a
referral at the administrative level. PLEASE BE ON
TIME!
The students are dismissed at 3:05.
If changes are to be made for dismissal on a
particular day, please write a note. If changes
involve Daycare pick-up, please also notify the
office.

ALERT Tree nut/Peanut-free Classroom

Examples: Fruits, Vegetables, Pretzels, and
Yogurt

MONDAY Physical Education (please wear
appropriate clothing and shoes)
TUESDAY Music and Book Check Out
WEDNESDAY LRC and Book Check Out
THURSDAY Physical Education (please wear
appropriate clothing and shoes)
FRIDAY -Art (please have an art shirt handy for
messy days)

Home Folders
Please check your childs home folder EVERY day and sign his or her
assignment book in the parent initial area.
Even if there are no assignments for that particular day I would like
them discussing their day with you and telling you what they learned.
It is the students responsibility to bring his or her folder and
assignment book to the parent or guardian. You are more than
welcome to write me notes in the assignment book as a means of
communication between us.
Please have your child let me know that you have written me a note
so I can be sure to check it that day.
Parent/teacher communication is an extremely important part of
helping your child succeed.

Reading
Reading Street series
Involves reading, grammar, writing,
and spelling.
Weekly stories are not tested. Skills
and strategies are.
Parent connection online passwords
and usernames coming soon!

Math
Study links will be given almost everyday.
Daily assessments from their journals
Units Tests

Science
New Curriculum!

Online Grades
All grades will be posted online weekly
through PowerSchool.
Each student has a unique username
and password (ask office for them)

Remind 101 sends reminders for your
student as a text.
