1. POPCOM and DOH in coordination with Provincial/City

Population Officers launch RPM at the regional/ provincial


level to drumbeat and promote public awareness on the
significance of the movement.
2. POPCOM and CHD regional officers organize and train

RPM teams.
3. POPCOM and CHD regional officers facilitate RDC/LGU

endorsement and support for RPM through resolutions.


4. POPCOM and CHD regional officers monitor RPM

implementation.

1. The community health workers in coordination with


RPM team leader perform the following:
Set the date, time and venue of the RPM class;
Confirm availability of RPM group members especially those who will
lead/facilitate the RP-FP class;
Invite eligible couples and confirm their attendance to the RP-FP class;
Prepare logistics for the RP-FP class IEC materials, supplies, food.
2. Participants fill up information sheet (profile) and
attendance sheet.
3. RPM team members conduct/ facilitate the RP-FP
class.
4. For those who want to use any FP method, they will
be referred to the nearest health center (RHU)
where the health personnel will evaluate the
person, then provide the service.Commission on Population

The Mr. GAD project has enriched the


POPCOM-led RP-FP initiatives in the
following ways:
1.facilitate the mainstreaming of gender
concerns in the RP-FP modules and other inputs;
2.the engagement of men advocates and
champions lead to enhanced LGU and
community support to the recruitment and
conduct of RP-FP classes;
3.with the establishment of effective linkages at
the barangay level, Mr. GAD services can be
tapped as complementary services for RP-FP
couples/beneficiairies.
