Key duties/responsibilities for vp marketing

Lead strategic vision of capabilities, ensuring the ideal deployment of marketing


strategies and capabilities delivered through mobile, on-line, and in-store environments.
2. Identify new and existing viable loyalty and marketing solutions that bring value to card
members and clients in delivering business goals.
3. Design & develop proposals and presentations that capture and convey quantifiable
business value for capabilities being brought to the marketplace.
4. Design & develop proposals, projects and campaigns to assess effectiveness; constantly
seek opportunities for process improvement and optimization
5. Maintain industry knowledge through actively developing credible and strategic
relationships with industry experts and conducting industry research
6. Aligning to the overall business strategy when driving the direction for a team of 25
associates with projects, processes, and marketing efforts. Providing developmental and
managerial leadership to the Marketing Capabilities team
7. Providing overall direction to the marketing capabilities activity and leading the efforts
in product services across Alliance Datas client base
8. Acting as a member of the Senior Leadership Team for the broader business, as well as
the marketing areas
9. Providing developmental and managerial leadership to the Marketing Capabilities team
10. Formulating insights, championing and driving insights into action

Key job qualifications for vp marketing


1. BA/BS degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or equivalent education/and
or related experience. MBA or Business Related Advanced Degree
preferred.
2. A minimum of 12 years professional hands-on experience with marketing
concepts, strategy, and product services or product management.
3. A minimum of 5 years proven managerial or supervisory experience
4. Proven experience building marketing capabilities and product services for
retail, brand, consumer or credit cards.
5. Proven experience influencing a business or marketing strategy through the
application and/or management of product service solutions
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good at developing
interpersonal relationships.
