AME plans to develop a portfolio of several hydro, biomass and wind power assets. AME plans to raise the funding required through a mix of debt and equity. IFC is considering an equity investment of up to $10 million in AME.
IFC has recently committed a debt investment of approximately $6.25 million equivalent in an 18 MW biomass project being developed by Auro Mira Bio Systems Kanyakumari Private Limited, a 100% subsidiary of AME.
