HISTORIA DEL ROCK

El rock es un gnero musical surgido en Estados Unidos en la dcada de 1950, que evolucion hacia una variedad de estilos a partir de la dcada siguiente,1 popularizndose rpidamente por gran parte del mundo. Su forma originaria, conocida como rock and roll, surgi mayormente de la combinacin de dos gneros anteriores como eran el rhythm and blues y el country. La msica rock tambin se nutri fuertemente del blues y el folk, e incorpor influencias del jazz, la msica clsica y otras fuentes.

Tpicamente, el rock es una msica centrada en las canciones, habitualmente con comps de 4/4 y usando una estructura verso-estribillo, pero el gnero se ha vuelto extremadamente diverso y las caractersticas musicales comunes son difciles de definir. Como la msica pop, las letras se centran a menudo en el amor romntico, pero tambin tratan un rango amplio de otros temas con un enfoque frecuente en lo social y lo poltico

VESTIMENTA

La vestimenta del rock suele ser negra y pegada, el hombre suele llevar unos pantalones de tela vaquera oscuros y pegados de pitillo, lleva una camiseta y una chaqueta encima negra con cremallera y unos zapatos muy comunes. Mientras que las mujeres del rock suelen vestir con un vestido corto , negro y pegado y con un gran escote y unos tacones altos o botas altas de plataforma. Los hombres el pelo lo llevan corto y muy peinado habitualmente en punta y las mujeres lo suelen llevar suelto o recogido y de un color llamativo como bien podemos ver en esta imagen, y tambin van muy maquilladas. Llevan complementos como pulseras grandes o colgantes grandes.

INSTRUMENTOS
Una de las caractersticas distintivas que tiene el rock progresivo, son los instrumentos que se usan para interpretar sus obras musicales. Desde luego que la base son los instrumentos ms tradicionales de la msica rock: guitarra elctrica, bajo elctrico, batera, voz. Sin embargo, cuando el rock progresivo se especializ, hubieron msicos que le dieron al sonido del rock progresivo una dimensin ms elevada, aadiendo a los recursos interpretativos instrumentos que si bien no eran nuevos, s le dieron al sonido una caracterstica ms particular. Luego fueron surgiendo msicos ms aventurados, que incorporaron a la hechura del sonido instrumentos tradicionales, folclricos, clsicos, antiguos y una que otra vez, como resultado de una creatividad ms representativa, instrumentos inventados por los msicos
