Under the leadership of Mrs. Edith Penny, Parker Middle School has collected more canned good than ever before. Special Kudos go to Mr. Glovers, Mrs. Browns and Mrs. Mayes homerooms for their efforts. Parker Middle School has been recognized by Superintendent for our efforts in making progress to close the achievement gap. He recently lauded that Parker is a sleeping Giant and specifically spoke of the team and cooperative spirit he witnessed in his visit on Thursday November 1st. Mr. Gray and Mrs. Brown for starting a Student Government Association here at Parker through their Exploratories. Rock the Vote!!!

Celebrations
Student and Parent feedback from our Anti-Bullying week was fantastic! Parents and students sent emails saying it was an amazing week. Join the Pledge against Bullying at Parker!!! Our football team is on a winning streak! 2 consecutive wins and we have Edwards Middle this week at Rocky Mount Senior High School! Be a Part of the Black Out. Parker Middle School was recognized by Dr. Cunningham, Associate Superintendent, for our recent Lockdown Drill. He stated well run, efficient and timely.
