CONCEPTOS BASICOS DE INMUNIDAD: Los organismos estamos constantemente expuestos a microorganismos como virus, bacterias, hongos, protozoarios o las molculas por ellas producidas, e inclusive a los alrgenos Para impedir los efectos txicos de ellos, los organismos han desarrollado a lo largo de la evolucin una serie de mecanismos de defensas, entre los cuales el SISTEMA INMUNITARIO es el ms sofisticado. El sistema inmune constas de una serie de rganos, tejidos y clulas ampliamente distribuidos por todo el cuerpo. Estos rganos y tejidos estn interconectados por vasos sanguneos y linfticos, de forma que se constituye un sistema unitario, entrelazado y bien intercomunicado. Los elementos claves del sistema inmunitario son los LINFOCITOS.

INMUNIDAD HUMORAL:
ANTIGENO: Cualquier sustancia extraa que, introducida en el interior de un organismo, provoca una respuesta inmunitaria, estimulando la produccin de anticuerpos. ANTICUERPO: Protenas pertenecientes al grupo de las gamma-globulinas o inmunoglobulinas que reaccionan contra los antgenos circulantes. REACCIN ANTGENO-ANTICUERPO: Es la unin antgeno-anticuerpo, que es especfica; cada anticuerpo reconoce y se une a un antgeno determinado. La unin se realiza mediante modelo llave-cerradura mediante uniones intermoleculares. INMUNIDAD CELULAR:
