Sociological & Cultural Perspective

Sociology definition Sociology helps us to understand why people chose to go to rugby matches and how their choices are shaped by broad social patterns and relationships Cultural studies focuses on the meanings behind the way of life and how there are represented as well as how the identities are created through leisure. This is closely related to sociology.

Analysis JESS FIX IT.

To find out the meaning of the sporting culture and more specifically the rugby culture and how it is shaped by society is really interesting to us because besides Camille we are all girly girls. Besides Jess the other three of us dont understand the rugby culture to the same depth. To find out the identities of Australians who get behind the different sporting teams in rugby, and how it tell us who we are and why.

Culture Jess do it.

Entry: prices may vary depending on the sections, age/status of the persons. Low and High income families are able to afford the game because of varied price range. Food Prices- no food allowed in the premises unless diabetic, or allegoric to certain foods. Charge excess money for raincoats, $10 Buses are included in ticket, running frequently to and from the game.

Social Divisions- Jess fix it.
