Tower Bridge
Tower Bridge is one of London's iconic sights of England. It was constructed in 1894, Tower Bridge was the most sophisticated bascule bridge of its time. Big Ben is the clock of the clock tower. The clock tower holds the largest fourfaced chiming clock in the world and is the third-tallest free-standing clock tower. The tower was completed in 1858 and has become one of the most prominent symbols of both London and England.

Westminster Abbey is located in London. The Abbey is a living church where worship still takes place today and it is also the traditional place of coronation and burial site for English monarchs. London Zoo
London Zoo is one of Britain's top attractions and is the world's oldest scientific zoo founded over 180 years ago. It can be found in the heart of London, in Regent's Park. it is run by the Zoological Society of London. Although this zoo is located in the middle of the city it still has plenty of animals to see including lions, camels, giraffes, penguins, tigers, monkeys and meerkats. In fact there are 750 different species of animals making it one of the largest collections of animals in the UK. The zoo is divided up into many different areas which are great fun to explore and help make it one of London's most popular tourist attractions. Stonehenge, Wiltshire
Stonehenge is a circle of ancient stones erected between 3000BC and 1,600BC. It is one of the most important prehistoric monument sites in Britain.
It was constructed in three phases and it has been estimated that this took more than 30 million hours of labour. Some think it was designed as a place to worship the sun, others believe it may have been a place of sacrifice.
Visitors are not permitted near the stones unless pre-arranged. Viewing is behind a fence that runs around the stone circle.
Buckingham Palace
Is the Queen's official London residence and is used to receive and entertain guests on state, ceremonial and official occasions for the Royal Family. The palace was originally built in 1705 for the Duke of Buckingham. The Palace is located between The Green Park, Hyde Park and St. James's Park.
The New Guard marches to the Palace from Wellington Barracks with a Guards band, the Old Guard hands over in a ceremony during which the sentries are changed and then returns to barracks. The ceremony lasts about 45 minutes and is free to watch.
