"Hail Columbia" & The President's March

The accompanying documentation shows the first use of the President's March with the tune "Hail Columbia" was on April 25, 1798 at the New Theatre in Chestnut Street with one of the songs composers, Philip Phile, conducting as Mr. Thomas Wignell pulled back the curtain to the box seats for President Washington and his guests.
