Come one, come all! Our very own All Saints Choir and Musicians, will
be joined by the Knoxville Youth Symphony Orchestra to do a benefit for
Catholic Charities. The Christmas Cantata “Journey of Promises” by
Joseph M. Martin will be presented on Fri., Jan. 16th at 7pm and Sun.,
Jan. 18th at 3pm. Both performances will be held in the main church and
open to the public. Donations will be accepted and all proceeds will
benefit Catholic Charities.

SOCIAL ACTION COMMITTEE
Many thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s Giving Tree a
huge success. We collected over 1400 gifts, collected many gift card and
cash donations, all for the benefit of eight different agencies. Thank you
again for your generous help!

Catholic Charities needs volunteer facilitators for its Parenting
Education Seminars, offered through its Parent Place supervised
visitation program. Facilitators should have a minimum of one year of
college, with a college degree preferred. Seminars are once a week for
four weeks, three hours per session. Times may be determined according
to facilitator’s availability and preference. Interested volunteers should

Now is the time to sign up for Catholic Charities’ “Serve One Another”
Tennis Event on Feb. 7-8. Saturday night features a social with “dancing
on the court” exhibition matches AND Serena Williams and Andy
Roddick autographed items to purchase at auction. Tournament play is

housing programs for homeless seniors and families.
LADIES OF CHARITY
The Ladies of Charity will have their general meeting on Jan. 9th at Holy
Ghost church. The Rosary will be said at 9:30am with Mass at 10am. A
chili lunch will be provided. Albert Nelson from CAC will be our guest
speaker. We would like committee chairpeople to turn in their yearly

DIOCESE AND DEANERY
Catholic Charities is again partnering with area churches to offer the
Dave Ramsey Financial Peace classes, starting the week of Jan. 5. Cost
is $55 for 10 weeks. Classes will be offered at Sacred Heart on Tuesdays
from 7-9pm in the Shea Room. All Saints classes will be offered on
Monday from 7-9pm in the Ed. Bldg. Holy Ghost classes will be offered
on Thurs., from 7-9pm and St. Albert the Great will have Sunday classes

St. John Neumann parishioner Ellen H. recently published “Daily
Thoughts for Friendly Fellows.” The book is a compilation of 365
inspirational uplifting poems and scripture verses. Great gifts that come

Divorce and Beyond is a structured eight-week program for Catholic
men and women who have experienced or are experiencing a divorce.
Sessions cover the primary emotions experienced as a person works
through the divorce process, including anger, blame and guilt, and
forgiveness. This group will begin meeting on Tues., Jan. 13 from 6:30-

Support Group for Caregivers and Family Members: Our mission is
to provide support for caregivers and family members of those affected
by chronic illness, including dementia through spiritual nurturing,

Meritan Stepping Stones, a foster home placement service, is in need of
foster homes in East Tennessee for medically and emotionally fragile
children. A presentation on the requirements and benefits of becoming a

Adult Christian Living will sponsor a couples’ enrichment opportunity
for both married AND dating couples at OLPH Parish Life Center in
Chattanooga. This retreat, “God’s Divine Affirming Love,” will be
presented by Jim and Joy Pinto. Jim is a Pastoral Associate with Priests
for Life. The program will begin with a luncheon and conclude in time
for couples to attend the 5:30pm Vigil mass before going on their
