The entire process may take between 20 to 30 minutes.Thefirmwareupgradeiscompletewhenyoucanloginintothewebconfigurationpages.

ASIPproxyserversuchasAsteriskoraSIPregistrarservercanbedeployedwiththeGXW410xseries gateway.Inthisenvironment,theSIPserverhandlesSIPregistrationandcallcontrolandtheGXW410x processesmediaconversionbetweenIPandPSTNcalls. Thereare2waystoconfigureGXW410xwhenusingitwithaSIPServer: 1. WithSIPaccountsconfiguredonChannelspage.Inthiscase,theGXW410xgatewayactsas anendpointrequestingregistrationfromtheSIPServer.UndertheChannelspageyouwillneed tofillintheinformationlikeSIPUserID,Password,etc.Now,whencallsaremadefromanIP phone,thecallwillberoutedtotheSIPServerwhichwillforwardittooneoftheSIPaccountson theGXW410x,whichwillthenforwardittothePSTNline. 2. WithoutSIPaccounts.
