Board 1 of 6 Brief
Design the a sans serif typeface developed from initial drawings and developed investigating the releationship between characters. Propose the distribution of the typeface, how it would be advertised and distributed as a font.
Concept
The humanist typeface based on drawings was named Cognosco which is a latin term for 'I learn', 'I know' or 'I recognise'. The name was given as it was the last project in a degree and acted as a learning process for constructing rules and consistancy within typography.

Examples of the type functioning at different pt sizes, the letters are also shown how they relate to one another with shapes determining 'letter sets' and rules across the typeface. The letters have been developed through drawing and vector artwork and are designed to work as a collection of letterforms which reflect the anatomy of one another.
