Channels frequently appear and disappear from the channel list If you find that channels you watch frequently appear and disappear, you may live in an area that has variable Freeview quality Your BT Vision+ box automatically picks up changes to the Freeview channel line-up, so once you have performed a channel scan that lists the channels that you watch, you should consider turning off the Automatic Freeview Channel Update feature To turn off this feature, go to your BT Vision Menu > Settings > TV Settings > Automatic Freeview Channel Update, and then select Automatic Freeview Channel Update Off If you turn channel updating off, youll still be asked to do a manual channel scan when your BT Vision+ box detects any changes

3 On Demand help
Im seeing an error message telling me On Demand is Currently unavailable Leave the On Demand section by pressing Back on the Vision+ box remote control. Re-enter the On Demand section. This makes the Vision+ box retrieve the information from the BT Vision platform. Try this several times. If you are still having problems try rebooting your equipment Turn off the power to the Home Hub (or disconnect the power supply) Switch off the socket that the Vision+ box power cord is connected to Wait for ten seconds and then reconnect power to the Home Hub Allow up to two minutes for the Home Hub to reboot and reconnect. A solid broadband Internet light will come on if the reboot and reconnection have been successful Switch on the socket that the Vision+ box power cord is connected to. The Starting Please Wait screen should appear. Shortly afterwards the Vision service should be active For more information on error codes go to bt.com/help/errorcodes I get a V04 error when watching On Demand If you are connecting via an Ethernet cable follow these steps: 1 Ensure the Ethernet cable is connected securely into the Vision+ box LAN port on the back of the Vision+ box (see fig. 1) - its worthwhile pulling the cable out then pushing it back in to hear the click as the cable fits. Ensure the other end of the cable is connected securely into the Home Hub Ethernet 1 port (see fig. 2). 2 If after doing this you still cant watch your On Demand programme, try rebooting your equipment following the steps shown in the Currently unavailable FAQ opposite.
