Explanation

Information Engineering & Media Electrical & Electronic Engineering Mechanical Engineering Materials Engineering Chemistry & Biological Chemistry

1. Students who are offered Engineering programme will be streamed into either Civil, Electrical & Electronic, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering in the second year of study on the basis of their first year university results and competition. 2. Applicants interested in the double degree programmes offered under Engineering & Economics are allowed to choose no more than 2 from the programmes available. 3. If you choose Art, Design & Media as one of your choices, please take note of the additional supporting documents that you need to submit. 4. Please note that Arts (Education) and Science (Education) are teachers' training programmes. Successful applicants will be bonded to serve the Singapore Ministry of Education for 4 years. 5. Please note that some of the lessons related to Biomedical Sciences programme are conducted in Chinese. To apply for the programme, you need to have at least a pass in Chinese at GCE 'O' Level/Junior High School level. This programme is not applicable to Chinese, Taiwanese and Hong Kong nationals.

I intend to request for Tuition Grant assistance and I will be paying the Subsidised Tuition Fee. I understand that I will need to work for any Singapore registered companies for 3 years after graduation under this scheme. I do not intend to apply for Tuition Grant assistance, I will be paying Non-Subsidised Tuition Fee. I understand that I will not be eligible to apply for Tuition Grant, Tuition Fee Loan and NTU Study Loan for the whole duration of study in NTU should I be admitted under the Non-Subsidised Tuition Fee Scheme. In addition, I am required to produce a S$20,000 Banker's Guarantee if I am admitted.
Item Choice of Programme Explanation Financial Status It is not necessary for you to indicate all 5 choices but you must provide at least one (1st) choice. Do not repeat the choices. If you are interested to take up the double degree programmes offered under Engineering & Economics and Engineering with Business Minor, do not choose more than 2 as your choices. Note that you need to have at least a pass in Chinese at Secondary School level as some of the lessons related to Biomedical Sciences programme are conducted in Chinese.

If you select request for Tuition Grant assistance, you will pay the subsidized tuition fee and you will need to work in a Singapore registered company for 3 years after graduation. Application for tuition grant must be made at MOE website in August after admission is confirmed. Application details will be forwarded along with admission package in July. If you select not to apply for Tuition Grant, you will pay the non-subsidised tuition fee for the entire duration of your study and you will need to produce a bankers Guarantee of S$20,000 within a month after matriculation. You will also not be eligible to apply for the following for the entire duration of your study: Long term scholarships administrated by NTU Tuition Fee Loan from the bank NTU Study Loan from NTU Any other financial assistance schemes administrated by NTU
