A Tradition Since 1903

This has become such a popular event that the Mens Golf Committee even scheduled a tournament around this race. Again this year, we will select the favorite Ladies Hats, Best Dressed Couple and conduct our paramutuals. Staying in concert with more of the Infield Flavors, we will dot the Great Room with some Southern Flair. Mini-Ruebens, Hot Browns, Lobster Macaroni & Cheese, Ribs, Beaumont Inn Corn Pudding and much more. Sean will be preparing the traditional Mint Juleps as well as Tipsy Tea. The buffet is $14 per person, plus gratuity. We would greatly appreciate reservations so we can plan for seating and food quantities.

Reserve your table today for our annual Mothers Day Brunch. Our wonderful chef has prepared a scrumptious menu including: Roasted Pork Tenderloin, Stuffed Chicken Breast Coconut Shrimp with Pina Colada Sauce, Fresh Garden Salad Cream of Asparagus Soup, Broccoli with Cheese Sauce Macaroni and Cheese, Full Breakfast Made-To-Order Seasonal Fruit Assortment, Strawberry Short Cake Chocolate Bourbon Cake, & Ice Cream Station. Managers Notes
What a thrill to see a beautiful swarm of busy-bees at our Annual Spring Clean-Up. There were over 30 people who worked very hard on the Golf Course, Parking Lot, Flower Beds and Ladies Restroom. So much of the labor was flat-out sweaty, messy, back-breaking work and the staff is grateful for this contribution from our members. You made our workplace just that much nicer! Bravo to those members & the HLG golf team! Speaking of Improvements... The Board of Directors approved a few enhancements to the Clubhouse and Property. We are remodeling the Ladies Restroom in phases. The wallpaper has been stripped...and now we only have about 12 more steps to go. Thank you Buddy Tarleton and Mike Mechlin who are both tackling most of the dry wall and electric. A shout out also goes to Andrea Scott who bought/donated the new counter tops for the vanity and make-up table. Other projects that are underway are landscaping the north side of the building, just under the windows of the Garden Room and trenching in a line for both irrigation and electric down to the Club driveway sign. This way, the flowers will get a drink and the sign will be lit, especially during the fall and winter months.
