Adjusting the Hitachi Camera for the ME2503 LED Upgrade

Hitachi cameras need a slight gain adjustment in order to view faint scratches in the cladding with the LED upgrade.

To determine whether the microscope has a Hitachi or Sony CCD camera simply look at the back of the microscope. Hitachi cameras are dark brown with two outputs on the back and Sony cameras are black with three outputs. If you are still not sure which type of camera you have you can turn it upside down and look 1) Are equipped with Hitachi CCD at the manufacturer's label.
