Rayos csmicos Los rayos csmicos son partculas que bombardean continuamente la tierra.

La mayora de ellos estn compuestos por ncleos de tomos o electrones y son las partculas que ms energa tienen en la naturaleza. La energa de los rayos csmicos representa un gran misterio para la ciencia ya que no se sabe casi nada acerca de dnde proviene, cmo funciona, qu efectos produce, etc. La materia oscura La materia oscura es un concepto creado por astrnomos y cientficos para definir una materia cuya existencia no puede ser detectada. Cmo saben que existe entonces? Pues los clculos dicen que en el Universo estara faltando materia. As se origina el problema de la materia oscura o la masa invisible, que es uno de los grandes misterios de la astronoma y sigue sin develarse. La anomala de las Pioneer En la dcada de 1970 fueron lanzadas las naves espaciales Pioneer 10 y la Pioneer 11. Luego de completar sus misiones, la NASA sigui sus trayectorias y descubri que ambas naves experimentan una aceleracin inexplicable. Se perdi contacto recin en el ao 1995 cuando la nave se encontraba a unos 400.000 kilmetros de distancia de donde tendra que estar si no tuviese esta misteriosa aceleracin. Qu causo esa aceleracin?
