4.3. Watchdog:

The watchdog is a module that can be used to monitor the different applications in the system and if they are still online and active. This is established by each application sending out a n "heartbeat" which is then picked up by a central monitoring application. Once a configured application is no longer sending out any heartbeats anymore, the monitoring can react to that and trigger an alarm, such as a visual indication or an e-mail alert. 01 - Selection of the watchdog Heartbeat type. Most common will be Pulsar, B4M's own monitoring application. 02 - Selection of the connection type and network adress (eg. where the monitoring application is installed). 03 - Button to access the second Preferences window.
