Mount de Chantal Visitation Academy, Wheeling, WV Technology Director: Developed and implemented the schools first multi-year technology plan.
Provided staff development to the school's faculty for the integration of technology into the curriculum and provided staff development for all employees in the day-to-day use of technology. Planned and implemented the migration from a mixed Windows 3.x/9x environment to a unified Windows NT environment including the move to multiple Windows 2003 servers and Windows XP/2000 desktops and laptops; this included the upgrade and management of the schools Local Area Network (LAN) to service multiple buildings across campus. Redesigned the schools website from the ground-up and performed day to day maintenance of the website. Maintained and deployed the schools administrative software (Redikers Administrator Plus) and electronic grading software (Jacksons Grade Quick) and provided regular staff and faculty training in its use. Responsible for the day to day maintenance and upkeep, troubleshooting, and software installation and maintenance of 24 laptop computers and over 100 desktops. Served as the principle party for finding, writing, and managing grants and development activities that were funded at over $60,000 to allow the school to outfit various classrooms with critical 21 st Century technologies.

National Technology Transfer Center (NTTC), Wheeling Jesuit University, Wheeling, WV Program Manager and Project Team Leader, U.S. EPA Program: Served as the Program
Manager for NTTCs Environmental Technologies Program, NTTCs second largest client, funded through a multi-million dollar annual cooperative agreement from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Responsible for securing the annual grant (i.e. writing the grant application, preparing the budget, etc), working with the EPA to develop and manage programmatic goals, managing the deliverables, and reporting to the client. As Project Team Leader, directly led a team of 15 NTTC personnel and contractors for the purpose of facilitating technology transfer between industry and EPA. Responsibilities included team management, marketing of EPA technologies, marketing and advertisement of the program, regular interaction with congressional aides and EPA management personnel, interaction with state and local government personnel (environmental and business development), client development, exploring business development opportunities, and technology transfer deal facilitation.

Additionally responsible for amphibious warfare and landing craft operations planning for Commander, Amphibious Squadron TWO. Awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal by the Secretary of the Navy for successfully leading Detachment ALFA through a challenging six-month Mediterranean deployment during wartime conditions. Awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for successfully leading a minimally trained detachment in providing disaster relief to Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Haiti during Operation Fundamental Relief.

USS NORMANDY (CG-60) Combat Information Center Officer: Responsible for the mentoring, direct supervision, training,
health, welfare and discipline of one junior officer and 44 enlisted personnel as well as the training of 16 other junior officers as Combat Information Center Watch Officer and various enlisted watch teams. Also responsible for the upkeep, operation and maintenance of the ships over 100 networked PCs and various aspects of the AEGIS Combat System including the Computer Display System (CDS) for the command, control, communications and information in an AEGIS Cruiser warship. Awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for training and leading Combat Information Center watchstanders through a highly successful six-month Arabian Gulf deployment as Air Warfare Commander of a four aircraft carrier Battle Group. Awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for personally training and leading a team of inexperienced personnel through the Cruise Missile Tactical Qualification (CMTQ) certification. Because of this teams proficiency by the end of the cycle, NORMANDY was the first ship ever to graduate from this evolution two months ahead of schedule.
