Ensure all participating crew understand their roles and responsibilities to perform the task safely and successfully. Use chain falls and other lifting tools. Check tools prior to use.

Maintain test pressure at given hrs. as per hydrotest procedure Depressurize pipeline

Hoses, fittings etc., under high pressure High pressure water discharge

Only responsible/authorized person to handle hydrotesting equipment Cordon off working area Ensure all components, fittings etc., are of adequate pressure capacity, and are installed properly. Same as above Authorized person to monitor equipment at all times. Ensure nobody is in front of the discharge valve. Use adequate PPE/and proper valves and fittings.
