He also prospected for new proje cts. * BARGE-WAGGONER-SUMNER-CANNON/ MANAGER ARCHITECT DEPT (Nashville, TN) 1988-1990 Ken managed 25 personnel Architecture Dept., assigning and reviewing architects work for all projects. Ken was designer for two educational projects awarded fo r excellence (see below). * KARKAU & ASSOCIATES/ PRINCIPLE ARCHITECT (Edmond, OK) 1981-1988 Ken brought 11 employees and all architectural projects from McCaleb Associates. McCaleb ran f or Governor and Ken completed projects & developed new clients, provided excelle nt service, performed unique work with many Native Indian Tribes, Federal projec ts with DOD military, Veteran Hosp. & DHHS, including passive and active solar p rojects, local schools, commercial, churches, schools and Multi-family homes. K en won runner-up design for Altus AFB - Consolidated Maintenance/ Operations Fac ility (AWACS) design. Ken was principle for the minority collaborative, OMNI DES IGN GROUP, Selected for many federal projects and Indian projects. * MNT ARCHITECTS and McCaleb Associates (Edmond, OK) 1976-1981 Ken's experience included work as licensed architect/ Architect project manager, including extens ive design experience with Educational, Commercial, Government (Fed/ State/ Muni cipal), DOD, Religious, Native Indian Tribes, and Medical projects.
