Amir is Puan Lizas son who possesses good characters. He is always taught to be good to mankind and animals. As a matter of fact, he keeps certain kinds of pets at home such as birds, iguanas and hamsters. He treats the creatures well because he believes being good is worthy. It was a sunny Monday afternoon and Amir was walking home alone from school. As he made his way home, a bolt from the blue, he noticed something was moving on the ground within a distance. He was wondering what it might be and as he approached, he discovered it was a pigeon lying down restless with its right wing injured. The poor bird could not fly and he was a little bit apprehensive about its condition. He came closer and finally decided to bring it home. On reaching home, he showed to his mother. Her mother was quite surprised yet stayed calm as it was not the first time Amir brought an injured creature home. Without further ado, Amirs mother cleaned the wound while Amir prepared the gauze and bandage. Within minutes, the birds wing was nicely bandaged. For almost a month the bird was given proper treatment. Eventually, it recovered and Amir made up his mind to release the bird. That very morning, he opened the door of the cage and let the pigeon free. The bird flew high in the sky and slowly vanished from his sight. Amir smiled in satisfaction. He knew he had done something right.

Leela has a grandmother who lives together with her. She adores her very much because her grandmother is so soft-spoken and understands her. As her grandmother would turn seventy soon, she planned to have a grand celebration for her. That morning, Leela and her mother took a taxi to the wet market. They wanted to buy some vegetables, fish and fruits. Leelas mother selected fresh salads, carrots, some oranges and some fish. She also purchased spices and other necessary ingredients. Later in the kitchen, Leela helped her mother to prepare the dishes. She helped to slice the carrots while her mother prepared condiments to be added to the dishes. Even though it was a tiring task, both Leela and her mother managed to accomplish the job in an hour. At about one oclock, Leelas aunt and uncle came. They brought along chicken soup which is Leelas grandmothers favourite and a box with a big blueberry cake in it. Leela welcomed them and later helped to place the soup and cake on the table. The smell of the food was so appetizing. Everyone surrounded the table and Leelas grandmother blew the candles. All of them clapped merrily as Leelas mother celebrated her 65th birthday. The cake was then cut and everyone enjoyed the birthday party. Indeed, the occasion was very meaningful as it foster respects and togetherness.

Fishing has always been an interesting hobby for both Sarah and her brother, Azmin. Both the siblings would spend their free time during weekends fishing by the river which is quite close to their house. A couple of weeks ago, Sarah and her brother were by the river fishing for tilapia, their favourite fish. It seemed that they had caught enough so they decided to make a move home. They packed their things and left the river bringing home the fish and fishing equipment. Minutes walking, Azmin out of the blue stepped onto something hard. He looked down and saw a shiny-looking object on the grass. Azmin wondered what it was so he lowered his body and picked the object. Surprisingly it was a gold bracelet. His sister was astonished and both of them were confused as they had no idea what to do with the valuable item found. After a short discussion, they decided to bring it to the village headman. They then met the village headman and frankly explained the incident. The headman took it and promised to look for the owner of the bracelet. He also thanked Sarah and her brother for being so honest. In fact, he was proud too to have such young children with noble attitude. On reaching home, Sarah and her brother shared their experience with their parents. Their parents seemed so please and proud to have a son and a daughter who are very honest.
