En la Gaceta Oficial N 39.828 de fecha 26 de diciembre de 2011, fue publicado el Decreto N 8.

732 de fecha 24 de diciembre de 2011, por medio del cual, se establece la inamovilidad laboral especial dictada a favor de los trabajadores(as) del sector privado y el sector pblico regidos por la Ley Orgnica del Trabajo (LOT), emanada de la Presidencia de la Repblica. En el mencionado Decreto, establece que gozarn de la proteccin prevista en l: (i) los trabajadores(as) a tiempo indeterminado a partir de los 03 meses al servicio de un patrono(a); (ii) los trabajadores(as) contratados por tiempo determinado mientras no haya vencido el trmino establecido en el contrato; y (iii) los trabajadores(as) contratados para una labor u obra determinada mientras no haya concluido la totalidad o la parte de la misma que constituya su obligacin. Quedan exceptuados de la aplicacin de este Decreto los(as) trabajadores(as) : (i) que ejerzan cargos de direccin o de confianza, y (ii) que sean temporeros, ocasionales o eventuales. El Decreto identificado, entrar en vigencia a partir de su publicacin en la Gaceta Oficial de la Repblica Bolivariana de Venezuela, hasta el 31 de diciembre de 2012.

Decree N8,732 of December 24, 2011 was published in Official Gazette N39,828 of December 26, 2011, establishing the special freeze on labor passed in favor of workers of the private and public sectors, ruled by the Master Labor Law (LOT), issued by the President of the Republic.

The Decree provides for the protection therein established to: (i) workers hired for indeterminate terms after 3 months of service to the employer; (ii) workers hired for given periods until termination of the term established in the contract; and (iii) workers hired for a given or specific task or work, until the totality or portion thereof representing the obligation of the worker has been completed.
Exceptions to the application of this Decree include (i) workers who hold positions of management or trust, and (ii) .

The Decree shall become effective from its publication in Official Gazette of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela until December 31, 2012.
