Advertising -2 Phases, Uni and town, Uni Culminates with O week Competition, Town Phase Begins if O week Competition Successful -LOGO Design DONE Rejected By Liz, Logo Provided -Putting links to NEON on our Facebooks DONE -Facebook Created, Made for NEON to measure how many people support and use NEON -Getting Business cards made, Liz offered to provide cards, Promised by 22/11/2011 -NEON Shirts for In town Advertising, Liz is getting design and quote made -Approaching other pubs Building up subscribers for sales pitch to pubs The Whitebull/Newie are Interested but need to be established first, Willing to take advertising Spread NEON into Social Media: -The Armidale Express?/Southern cross connect explore and raise with Liz -Other Websites and links (WEB BADGE) -Twitter already established, needs integration with Facebook page -Face book established, Liz needs to give the final Ok to approve it -Organise List of community Organisations to Use Neon -Google Grants, Application to be completed with Liz or Webcessity

-Rotating Schedule of Advertising NEON in Centro, once we get shirts and further advertising after O week -Establishing a media distribution list, to give NEON data to other sources of the media, New England Phase of project -Long term Goals Apps for both Android and Apple Smart phones 2. To Optimise Neons Google Search -Optimisation of the Website, I.e. Facebook integration, Links, Logins -Meetings/Discussion with Webcessity to change/determine viability of Facebook integration RSS feed integration and Apps -Increase Hits with Advertising to Increase position, Meeting with Tune FM Manager 23/11/2011 -Competition for UNI for Prize provided by Liz, Like the Facebook page be in the draw for either an apple product or a free flight with Qantas -Radio and physical advertising on Campus, Table at O week, advertising around the college -Depending on the Success of the O week competition and Advertising, Liz may sponsor a second town based competition -Google Grants, Will Increase the positioning Of NEON In Google 3. To Gain Sponsorship of NEON -By Achieving high enough hits on the website and twitter, subscription to the weekly newsletter and likes on Facebook a sales pitch can be made to sell NEON to Sponsors -Potential Sponsors Brindabella or Qantas -End goal is to make NEON financially self-supporting -Approaching Businesses to Increase the amount of events placed on NEON and to make a list of organisations using NEON to showcase how useful NEON would be to a sponsor and how many Events it promotes

Measuring the Impact of Sife on the Growth of Neon: Project data is to be given to James -Quantitative amounts of advertising placed measured -Number of Likes on Facebook -Traffic on the Website Measured VIA Google Analytics -Subscription rates compared -Divinding the Increase In traffic+likes by the amount of advertising utilised -Counting how many people enter the draw for the Competition

SIFE Specific judging Elements and how we comply with them: 1. What are the relevant economic, social and environmental factors? -Project must be sustainable, Profit, People, planet Out project is designed to allow the NEONNOW website to be Financially Independent, Serving people visiting and residing the New England region by allowing people to have access to event information in the new England region promoting tourism and attendance to local events 2. How are people effectively empowered? -People are empowered through the NEON project as: Liz the creator of NEON has more manpower and resources available through SIFE to Market, Promote and develop NEON Members and visitors of the New England Region are empowered as they will now get access to events and the end result should be a useful resource to tourists and residents alike which will support local events and increased visitor entertainment and attendance 3. Who are people in need? -The Event managers, locals and Tourists who want to: Promote their events and gain a high turn out Know whats going on In NEW England and Attend events 4. Why is applying business and economic concepts and entrepreneurial approach? -NEON to be successful needs to connect organisations and events to locals and tourists, Marketing and Management are two entrepreneurial skills which are necessary to develop these connections, and this is the main way in which SIFE is involved

5. What is considered Quality of life and standard of living? People Getting access to events which increase their happiness and charities running events being able to raise more money
