Catalog: Search for books, DVDs, and other library materials Library of Congress Classification outline Listing of DVDs by title Articles: Search EBSCO databases for research articles. You must log in to access the databases at home or other remote locations. For log-in information, email or IM a librarian. Dont have Internet service at home? Here is a List of area businesses that provide free WIFI. NEW! InfoBase eBooks: Check out this new list of 21 eBooks. Log-in, search, read, and print. Email or IM librarian for log-in information. Print Journals: Find out which journals the library owns Electronic Journals: Databases consist of a collection of electronic journals. Edit Q: Can I find out which items the library owns without coming to the library? A: You can search for books and other items, articles, and journal titles from the library Search page. Q: How long is the checkout period for books and other library items? A: The initial checkout period for books is three weeks. You are eligible to renew the checkout unless another patron has requested the item. If an item has a hold on it, it will be checked out to the individual who has requested the item. Q: How many times can I renew an item? A: You can continue to renew an item until it is requested by another patron. Q: Can I check out reserve or reference items? A: Reserve or reference items in most cases are for library-use only. If circumstances merit, the library may grant patrons permission to check out reference or reserve items for one 24-hour period. Patrons are not eligible to check out reserve or reference items more than one time in a semester. Q: Can students check out DVDs? A: DVDs are on reserve for faculty members. See policy above for reserve or reference items. Q: What happens if I lose a library book? A: Students who lose library books or other items will be required to reimburse Wright Career College for the replacement value of the item(s) plus a $10 per-item processing fee. Students who do not pay for lost items will have a library hold placed on their account, and they will not be able to graduate until the account is settled.
